Reformatting
So, you might be wondering why this site became empty all of a sudden. I was very close to deleting it entirely. I wanted to trim down on my social media usage and I wanted to focus on my other photo sites, www.errorc1301.com and killerkilobyte.wordpress.com/. But more than anything, I wanted to refocus this site. With so many sites about photography and taking photos out there, I thought it was time to think about what can I offer.
I am not a photographer, but someone who takes photos and thinks about taking photos. Nearly all the cameras I use are old digital cameras, mainly Sony Mavica cameras from the late 1990s to the early 2000s (1997 to 2003 to be exact). The very first Sony Mavica cameras date back to the 1980s (and if you are really interested in old digital camera history, I recommend looking up Ken Parulski, who writes about the technology, legal disputes and history from time to time).
Rather than start out this “reformatted” blog with much writing that would probably contain a lot of typos at this hour, I will post several photos, all still lifes, which has become an occasional hobby for me.

If you’re still with me, all of my still life photos are taken with a simple setup. They nearly always have a background that is poster board I got at the Dollar Tree and a single desk lamp, or window light.
